Update: Material and Equipment Deliveries at Laird Station

During the week of April 24 and May 1, there will be a number of large equipment and material deliveries to the Main Entrance at Laird Station. To safely offload equipment and materials into the bottom of the shaft temporary lane and sidewalk closures will be in place as required. A mobile crane will be used to facilitate deliveries. 

Hours of Work

  • Deliveries will occur during permitted hours 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.
  • This work may be rescheduled due to weather or unforeseen circumstances

Traffic and Pedestrian Impacts

  • Left turn from eastbound Eglinton Avenue East to northbound Laird Drive will be restricted.
  • Short duration lane closures on Eglinton Avenue East will be required.
  • The Sidewalk on the south side of Eglinton Avenue East from west of Laird Drive to Laird Drive will be closed.
