décembre 18, 2017

What Work is Taking Place?

Starting as soon as mid-December 2017, crews will complete electrical connections for ventilation fans within the existing tunnels underneath Eglinton Avenue. An approximate 1' x 1' trench will be excavated in the eastbound curb lane of Eglinton Avenue from the secondary entrance, east of Laird Drive to the west side of Brentcliffe Road. At the east end of the trench, two boreholes will be drilled on both the north and south side of Eglinton Avenue to connect to the tunnels. Work zones for the boreholes will be completed in a sequence to minimize disruption.
