Waste Collection Notice During Crosstown Construction
Your Waste Collection
The City of Toronto’s Solid Waste Management Services division is responsible for collecting, transporting, processing, composting and disposing of municipal and private sector solid waste and recyclables, as well as household hazardous waste.
Solid Waste Management Services will continue to pick up your waste during the construction of the Crosstown. Recycling and garbage collection schedules along Eglinton Avenue will not change during the construction period.
Please continue to abide by their guidelines for your garbage disposal and follow your normal routine. Please label your bins with your address and place them as close to the usual location as possible before 7 a.m. or the night before the scheduled collection day. If necessary during construction, your bins may be temporarily moved by the contractor.
Public Waste Bin Relocations
If necessary during construction, public waste bins may be temporarily moved by the contractor.
If you have questions regarding your waste disposal please call 311 or visit: www.toronto.ca/garbage
