What Work is Taking Place?

As part of construction of the future Eglinton Crosstown LRT, improvements are also being made to the GO Transit Stouffville Corridor at Kennedy GO Station. Improvements include building a new west platform; rebuilding the existing east platform; constructing a new ticketing building for the GO Station; and building a new south pedestrian underpass. UPDATE: Resumption of Overnight Utility Relocation on Transway Crescent and Kennedy Road In Support of Construction of the Future Kennedy Station

What Work is Taking Place?

As part of construction of the future Kennedy Station, crews will resume relocating watermain and sanitary utilities on Transway Crescent, starting as soon as June 12, 2018. To reduce impacts to the community and commuters this work will be performed overnight and will take approximately three (3) weeks to complete.  The work is part of the larger upgrade and relocation of utilities for the Eglinton Crosstown LRT.

What Work is Taking Place?

As part of construction of the future Kennedy Station, crews will be relocating watermain and sanitary utilities on Transway Crescent, including a partial crossing of Kennedy Road, starting as soon as April 9, 2018. To reduce impacts to the community and commuters this work will be performed overnight and will take approximately two weeks to complete.  The work is part of the larger upgrade and relocation of utilities for the Eglinton Crosstown LRT. Upcoming Parking Reduction at Kennedy Station in April 2018

As part of construction of the future Eglinton Crosstown Light Rail Transit (ECLRT), improvements are also being made to the GO Corridor Stouffville Line at Kennedy Station. These include building a new west platform, rebuilding the existing east platform, constructing a new ticketing building for the GO Station, and building a new south pedestrian underpass. 

In order to facilitate these improvements, roughly 113 parking spaces at the South Parking Lot will be removed so that the work can be undertaken in a safe manner. Read more »
