What Work is Taking Place?

As early as Friday, November 4, 2022, traffic lanes on Eglinton Avenue, west and east of Mount Pleasant Road, will shift to the center of the street to accommodate bike lane installations at the northwest corner of the intersection. This traffic configuration will remain in place for approximately ten (10) days.

What to Expect

Noise from construction activities, including concrete pours and hammering, can be expected. Expect delays while traveling through the intersection.  Traffic control personnel and/or a Paid Duty Officer will be present, while this work takes place. 

HOURS OF WORK

  • As early as Friday, November 4, 2022, for approximately ten (10) days.
  • This work may be rescheduled or delayed due to inclement weather and/or unforeseen circumstances.

TRAFFIC DETAILS

  • Traffic lanes on Eglinton Avenue, west and east of Mount Pleasant Road, will shift to the center of the street.

PEDESTRIAN DETAILS 

  • Pedestrians will be rerouted around the work zones at the northwest and southwest corners.

TRANSIT INFORMATION

  • Access to TTC will be maintained at all times.
