What Work is Taking Place?

As part of continued construction of the Mount Dennis Station crews will be working within the centre lane of Eglinton Avenue West from Weston Road to Black Creek Drive to complete watermain and fire hydrant connections.

This work will occur overnight beginning October 9, 2017 between the hours of 7:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. and is expected to take approximately two (2) weeks.

Hours of Work

  • As early as October 9, 2017 crews will install two (2) watermain connections and two (2) fire hydrant connections on the north side of Eglinton Avenue West from Weston Road  to Black Creek Drive.
  • Work may be rescheduled due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances.

What to Expect

  • While every effort will be made to minimize noise, residents and businesses near the work site can expect to hear noise form vacuum trucks and other construction equipment caused by utilities relocation/connection activities.

Traffic Details

  • Lane will be closed in work area with flagmen on site to direct traffic.
