NOTICE OF UPCOMING PARKING CHANGES AT KENNEDY STATION PHASE 1 AS EARLY AS MAY 2017

Kennedy Station will be the terminal station at the eastern end of the Eglinton Crosstown LRT line. Kennedy Station is yet another station along the LRT line to serve as a Mobility Hub, with connections to the GO Transit Stouffville Line, the TTC Scarborough RT, the TTC Bloor-Danforth subway, and the TTC bus terminal.

Cedarvale Station Utilities Relocations

Decommissioning and Bell Utility Works at Brentcliffe Road Launch Shaft Site

Over the last few months, the tunnel contractor has begun decommissioning the Launch Shaft site at Brentcliffe Road to make way for the station contractor. There will be no change to the footprint of the site. However, as tunnel work has concluded, preparatory works will now begin for the next phase of LRT construction. Read more »

Dewatering System at Laird Station

Installation of the dewatering system designed for Laird Station is underway and surface installations will begin as early as late April 2017. Dewatering systems involve controlling groundwater by pumping to locally lower groundwater levels in the vicinity of the excavation.  The specific dewatering system for each station is selected based on local soil conditions as well as existing groundwater levels.  Read more »
