THURSDAY OCTOBER 12 at 4AM

Rain Dates: October 13, October 16

  • With the invert concrete slab now complete at the crossover track section east of Cedarvale Station, the next phase is pouring the roof slab. The roof slab will be poured in three large sections, similar to the invert slab.
  • Trucks will access the tunnel shaft from east of Allen Road and pump concrete into a pipe before it is poured into place.

Noise Mitigation Efforts

  • White noise/broadband back-up alarms on all equipment/trucks. Broadband back-up alarms, unlike traditional truck back-up alarms, are only heard within the hazard area.
