What Work is Taking Place?

Beginning in early March 2019, crews will implement overnight lane reductions at the intersection of Dufferin Street and Eglinton Avenue West to perform sewer relocation and water discharge works.  Work will begin on Eglinton Ave approximately 40 meters east of Dufferin St, followed by Dufferin St approximately 30 meters south of Eglinton Ave, for a total of approximately five (5) nights (weather permitting).

Due to the location of this work in the roadway, Eglinton Ave and Dufferin St will be reduced to one lane only, alternating traffic in each direction, while this work takes place.  To minimize the impact to the travelling public, this work will be performed overnight.

Hours of Work

  • As early as March 6, 2019 for approximately five (5) nights
  • 8:00 p.m. – 5:00 a.m. (overnight)
