What Work is Taking Place?
From Tuesday, November 8 – Wednesday, November 9, 2022, crews at Forest Hill Station will perform overnight utility work on Eglinton Avenue, east of Bathurst Street. To facilitate this work safely, Eglinton Avenue will be reduced to one lane only east of Bathurst Street with traffic alternating in each direction. To mitigate impact to the travelling public, this work will take place between 9:00 p.m. – 5:00 a.m. for approximately two (2) nights.
What to Expect
Overnight noise can be expected during this work. Expect delays while traveling through the intersection. Concrete barriers, fencing and traffic barrels will be in place to delineate workzones. Traffic control personnel and/or a Paid Duty Officer will be present while this work takes place.
HOURS OF WORK
- From Tuesday, November 8 – Wednesday, November 9, 2022,
- Between 9:00 p.m. – 5:00 a.m. for approximately two (2) nights
- This work may be rescheduled due to inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances.
TRAFFIC DETAILS
- Eglinton Avenue will be reduced to one lane only east of Bathurst Street, with traffic alternating in each direction
PEDESTRIAN DETAILS
- No changes to the current pedestrian routes are expected as a result of this work

- Access to TTC will be maintained at all times
