WHAT WORK IS TAKING PLACE?

Support of excavation (or shoring) continues at Chaplin Station. At the Main Entrance site, located on the northeast corner of Chaplin and Eglinton, there are some piles that remain to be installed.

As early as Wednesday, March 14, crews will begin piling activities at the Main Entrance. The drill will cross Eglinton to the Main Entrance site as early as Monday, March 12.

TIMING 

  • Piling will begin as early as Wednesday March 14, 2018 and last approximately three (3) weeks
  • Work may occur within the hours of 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.
  • Work may be delayed due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances.

WHAT TO EXPECT

  • Noise from construction equipment, trucks and site lighting can be expected.
  • No changes to the existing construction staging in place at Chaplin Station.
  • When the drill crosses Eglinton, short term traffic delays may occur. A traffic control person will be in place during the drill move.
