What Work is Taking Place?

As early as Wednesday, November 9, 2022, crews at Forest Hill Station will perform sidewalk restoration works on the south side of Eglinton Avenue, between Bathurst Street and 801 Eglinton Avenue West. To facilitate this work safely, the sidewalk will be temporarily closed while this work takes place. This work is expected to take place between 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. for approximately one (1) week. Once the work is completed, the sidewalk will reopen

What to Expect

Noise from construction equipment including trucks and hammering can be expected. Expect delays while traveling through the intersection. Concrete barriers, fencing and traffic barrels will be in place to delineate work zones. Access to private properties will be maintained.

HOURS OF WORK

  • As early as Wednesday, November 9, 2022, between 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. for approximately one (1) week.
  • This work may be rescheduled due to inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances.

TRAFFIC DETAILS

  • No changes to the current traffic configuration are expected as a result of this work

PEDESTRIAN DETAILS

  • The sidewalk on the south side of Eglinton Avenue between Bathurst Street and 801 Eglinton Avenue West will be temporarily closed during this work

  • Access to TTC will be maintained at all times
