What Work is Taking Place?

Crews will complete works to connect water and sewer services at the secondary entrance at the Future Leaside Station. Crews are also continuing to finalize telecommunications and hydro utilities works around the Eglinton Avenue and Bayview Ave intersection. For the safety of the public and workers, temporary pedestrian and traffic changes will be in effect to accommodate this work.  Work will occur in stages to minimize traffic disruptions.

  • The work is expected to occur between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m.
  • The contractor may not always work during the permitted hours, but may do so at its discretion.
  • If overnight work is required, Metrolinx will notify the public in advance and monitor activities throughout.
  • Work may be rescheduled due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances.
