Traffic Lane Shift at Forest Hill Station - Monday, November 7, 2022

What Work is Taking Place?

As early as Monday, November 7, 2022, the northbound traffic lane on Bathurst Street, north of Eglinton Avenue, will shift east to accommodate sewer works. This traffic configuration will remain in place for approximately two (2) weeks. One lane of traffic in each direction will be maintained on Bathurst Street and Eglinton Avenue during this work.

What to Expect

Overnight noise can be expected while the traffic changes are being implemented. Expect delays while traveling through the intersection. Utility, road, and sidewalk restoration works will continue on Eglinton Avenue and Bathurst Street during this traffic stage. During these activities, noise from construction equipment such as excavators, jackhammers, trucks, and hand tools can be expected. Concrete barriers, fencing, and traffic barrels will be in place to delineate work zones.

HOURS OF WORK

• As early as Monday. November 7, 2022, for approximately two (2) weeks  
• Overnight work may be required to implement the traffic changes  
• This work may be rescheduled due to inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances.

TRAFFIC DETAILS

• The northbound traffic lane on Bathurst Street, north of Eglinton Avenue, will shift east
• Traffic on Eglinton Avenue will remain on the north side of the road
• The northbound left turn from Bathurst Street to Eglinton Avenue will remain open
• The southbound left turn from Bathurst Street to Eglinton Avenue will remain open
• All other turn restrictions will remain in place

PEDESTRIAN DETAILS

• No changes to the current pedestrian routes are expected as a result of this work
