UPDATE: Shoring Work and Temporary Laydown Area

What work is taking place?

Shoring operations at the secondary entrance for the future Oakwood Station will begin in late December 2016. Activities will be similar to what has been seen to date at the main entrance. In order for crews to safely complete the shoring process an additional laydown area is required to accommodate construction materials and equipment. A portion of the Green P parking lot, at 1607 Eglinton Ave W, will be used temporarily to accommodate these requirements.

  • Laydown area will be set up as soon as Monday, December 12. The area will be used from December 2016 to April 2017.
  •  Shoring related operations will begin as early as Monday, December 19 and continue for approximately four months.
