What Work is Taking Place?

To support the ongoing construction works at the future Leaside Station, wet utilities infrastructure under Eglinton Avenue East will be relocated. The first stage of the work will take place in the existing work zone on the south side of Eglinton Avenue East just east of Mann Avenue. Work to relocate utilities on the north side of Eglinton Avenue East will take place in 2018.

Hours of Work

  • Work is expected to begin as soon as October 24, 2017 and take approximately eight (8) weeks to complete. 
  • Work will occur between 7:00 a.m. and 11:00 p.m. 

What to Expect

  • Residents near the work site can expect to hear trucks, excavators, backhoes, and other construction equipment. 
  • There are no additional pedestrian or traffic impacts related to the work at this time.
