What Work is Taking Place?

To prepare for the construction of Eglinton Station, crews have begun the next phase of re-routing existing hydro utilities in the vicinity of Eglinton Avenue and Yonge Street.  

For this next stretch of the work, crews will be working to install new Toronto Hydro infrastructure within the City of Toronto’s public right-of-way. Crews may use a hydro-vacuum truck, excavators, jack-hammer and other construction equipment to complete the work. Read more »

What Work is Taking Place?

To prepare for the construction of Eglinton Station, crews have begun the next phase of re-routing existing hydro utilities in the vicinity of Eglinton Avenue and Yonge Street.  

For this next stretch of the work, crews will be working to install new Toronto Hydro infrastructure within the City of Toronto’s public right-of-way across Eglinton Avenue East, east of Holly Street. Upcoming Works at Eglinton Station: Next Phase of Support of Excavation

What Work is Taking Place?

Support of excavation work, also known as shoring, has commenced to make way for the future Eglinton interchange station. This work will include pile installation, jet grouting and road deck installation. Shoring will be conducted in phases, beginning in the former TTC bus depot on the southeast corner of Yonge and Eglinton and along the south side of Eglinton Avenue between Duplex Avenue and Holly Street.  Read more »

Scheduled Toronto Hydro Outage at 32 and 38 Berwick Avenue

What Work is Taking Place?

In order to prepare for construction of the new TTC emergency services building, crews will be installing new hydro infrastructure along Berwick Avenue between Duplex Avenue and Yonge Street. In order to complete the next phase of this work, crews will be installing new transformers at the corner of Duplex Avenue and Berwick Avenue.
