Crews will remove existing traffic signals and install temporary traffic signals on Eglinton Avenue East between Leslie Street and Kennedy Road, to make way for the construction of future surface stops for the Eglinton Crosstown LRT.

Sanitary Sewer Installation and Overnight Diversion Work at Chaplin Station

WHAT WORK IS TAKING PLACE?

Part of the work to be done within the north side work zone includes the installation of a new sanitary sewer system. The new sanitary sewer will run along Eglinton Avenue West between Chaplin Crescent and Latimer Avenue.  

To complete the installation of the new sewer, crews will need to divert the existing sanitary sewer system flow. Diversion work involves cutting into the existing sanitary sewer pipe and temporarily diverting the flow of sewage while the new pipes and property connections are installed. Read more »
