What Work is Taking Place?
As early as 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 18, 2022, and continuing nightly through Saturday, August 20, 2022, at 6:00 a.m., crews will perform road restoration works on Eglinton Avenue East between Brentcliffe Road and Leslie Street. Work will take place nightly from 8:00 p.m. - 6:00 a.m. To accommodate this work, traffic on Eglinton Avenue East will be redirected with a crossover at Don Avon Drive and Leslie Street. The work area will remain opened to local traffic only. Outside of these hours, road operations will continue normally. One lane of traffic in each direction will be maintained on Eglinton Avenue East.
What to Expect
Driveways between Don Avon Drive and Leslie Street will have restricted access for approximately two (2) hours for the duration of the work in the immediate area. Properties affected by this restriction will be contacted directly. Traffic lanes affected by the work will be open to local traffic only. Noise from construction activity including trucks, asphalt removals, paving, and compacting can be expected. Traffic control personnel and/or a Paid Duty Officer will be present, while this work takes place.
